Pre and post check-ins

How Pre Check-In and Post Check-In work, what your client sees, and what is saved on each plan.

Pre Check-In and Post Check-In (top bar of a live session) open the same form on your screen and your client's — how they feel, distress (1–10), how capable they feel (1–10) and an optional note. Either of you can fill it in; each sees the other's answers as they go.

  • Pre Check-In — when your client taps I'm Ready, it closes on both screens.
  • Post Check-In — shows the pre answers beside the post form, so you both see the change.

Use pre/post check-ins live with your client on the free plan; on the paid plan they're saved to the client's record. On the paid plan they're kept when you save the session with a client attached. On the free plan nothing from a check-in is kept once the session ends, so there is nothing to save later. On the free plan, End Session opens the post check-in first if you ran a pre check-in this session; its End session button ends the session and Back to session carries on.

Your client's screen never shows plan or pricing wording — only the form.

See it in the app: the Pre / Post Check-In buttons on a live session (/session)
