The client's screen mirrors your session automatically — they don't control anything. But a few features need one small action on their device:
- To hear sound: the client taps Headphones or Speakers once when prompted. Browsers block audio until then, and turning the sound on asks for no microphone access. After that single tap, audio plays for the whole session. (Starting an in-app video call is separate: the client taps Join Video, and their browser then asks for their camera and microphone — see In-app video calls.)
- For haptics: the client needs a paired game controller and should press any button on it once so their browser detects it.
- For the best view: the client can use the Fullscreen button to remove distractions.
A simple thing to say at the start: "You'll just tap your screen once to turn on the sound — that's the only thing you need to do."
If you're going to use the in-app video call, add one line: "When I start the video, a button will appear on your screen — tap it, and your browser will ask to use your camera and microphone."
