Running a live session
How to start, pause, and end a live BLS session, and what the passes counter and timer do.
On the Session tab, the client watches a smooth-moving target (a glowing ball travelling left↔right). You drive it; the client's screen mirrors it automatically — they don't click anything to receive it.
- Start / Pause / Reset — Start begins a set. Pause stops the motion and keeps the set open: Start then reads Resume and carries on with the same passes and timer. Reset finishes the set, clears the pass count and timer, and re-centers the ball.
- Passes — counts each full back-and-forth: one pass every time the target gets back to the left side. Turn on Limit (1–200) and the set finishes on its own at that many passes. When a session is saved, its pass count is the total across all its sets.
- Sets — how many sets you've finished this session. A set finishes when you press Reset, the Limit is reached, the Timer reaches 0:00, or you press End Session, and it counts if it had at least one pass. The next Start begins a new set at 0 passes with the full timer. Reset never clears Sets; they start again at 0 in your next session.
- Pause works as Reset — an optional setting, off by default. When it's on, Pause finishes the set, the next Start begins a new one, and the Reset button is hidden. Switch it in Settings → Account & Notifications, in the session controls, or from the gold ? next to Pause; it stays that way for every session until you switch it back.
- Timer — set a countdown (30 seconds up to 30 minutes); the set finishes on its own at 0:00.
- The small preview — on the Sounds and Scripts tabs the target keeps running in a small window with Pause, the timer, a Passes switch that turns the Limit on or off (− / + sets it), and a Sets · Passes · Reset row. With a Limit on, Passes reads as a count out of the limit, like 12 / 40.
- End Session — stops the session. On the paid plan it opens the post check-in, where you save the session to the client's record. On the free plan nothing is saved; if you ran a pre check-in, End Session opens the post check-in first so you can walk your client through it.
- After End Session on the free plan — a short note shows what the paid plan would have saved. Not now hides it until your next session; Don't show again turns it off. Turn it back on under Settings → Account & Notifications.
Only you see the pass and set counts — your client's screen shows just the target.
Every control here is yours — the client only ever mirrors what you set.
