The name reflects the work itself. A 180° turn represents the change clients often seek through therapy: turning away from patterns that keep them stuck and toward a healthier path forward — one characterized by growth, resilience, healthier perspectives, and new possibilities. The software exists to support that process with tools that help therapists stay focused on their clients and help clients stay engaged throughout the therapeutic process.
The platform brings together session tools, continuity features, and therapist-managed records that preserve context between appointments — whether a client returns next week, several months later, or simply for a progress check-in.
Therapy does not begin and end in a single session. Progress unfolds across weeks, months, and sometimes years, and Psy180 is built around that reality: less friction, more continuity, and an easier path back to where the work left off.
Development is deliberate and ongoing. Psy180 was originally developed as a bilateral stimulation tool alongside clinicians practicing Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART®), and it continues to evolve through direct conversations with therapists using ART, EMDR®, and other approaches. New features are released carefully, feedback is read personally, and the best ideas become the next feature.
Psy180 is also committed to intellectual honesty. When research informs a feature, the evidence is presented openly — including where evidence is strong, where it is still emerging, and where important questions remain unanswered. Clinicians deserve transparency, not marketing disguised as science.
Psy180 is independent software. It does not provide clinical training, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not affiliated with any certification body, governing organization, or therapeutic modality. Clinicians bring their own training, judgment, and protocols. Psy180 provides the tools that support their work.
