How bilateral audio works

Choosing an audio preset and volume — and the single tap your client needs to hear it.

Bilateral audio plays gentle tones that alternate between the left and right ears, in time with the motion.

  • Turn on the Audio toggle in the Control Panel, choose a preset (Theta, Alpha, Delta — and more on a paid plan), and set the level with the Vol slider.
  • The free plan includes audio for one session per month; a paid plan is unlimited.

One thing the client must do: browsers won't play sound until the person interacts with the page, so the client sees a prompt to tap their screen once to turn on sound. This does not request microphone access — it's just the browser's rule. After that single tap, audio plays for the rest of the session.

Note: any custom audio file you upload plays on your side only — the client sees a "therapist-only audio" note and won't hear it.

See it in the app: the Audio controls on the Session tab (/session)
