Open the Add New Client form on your therapist dashboard and fill in:
- Full Legal Name
- Date of Birth
- Email Address
- Client's State
When you submit (Create Client & Generate Link), Psy180:
- creates the right consent documents for that client,
- mints a secure consent link, and
- auto-emails the link to the client (you also get the link on screen to share yourself).
Guardian details are only requested when the client is a minor below their state's self-consent age. For adults and self-consenting minors, no guardian is collected. The form decides this for you from the date of birth and state, and shows a live note as you type — see Why some minor clients sign for themselves and others need a guardian.
