In a session, your therapist guides a form of bilateral stimulation — you'll usually watch a gentle target move from side to side on your screen, and you may hear soft tones that alternate between your ears. Your screen simply follows what your therapist sets, so there is nothing for you to adjust.
A few things to know going in:
- Opening the session. Use the session link your therapist shares. If it does not open on its own, copy and paste it into a new browser tab.
- Turning on the sound. Click your screen once at the start of the session to enable audio — your browser keeps sound off until you do, and no microphone is used.
- Reducing distractions. You can switch to Fullscreen at any time.
Your therapist leads the entire session, so once you are in, you can settle in and follow along.
